British Columbia, Canada, starts at the short pylon that marks the US-Canada border on the right side of BC Highway 99, near the center of the image, where the pavement changes to a lighter gray and the end of northbound I-5. The Canada Border Services Agency border crossing is on the horizon at the head of the road to Canada. Peace Arch State Park in the state of Washington is on this side of the pylon and B.C. Peace Arch Park is beyond the pylon. January, 2017.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
