Artist's Description
Right to Port Townsend on SR 20. US 101 travels north from Olympia, along the western shore of Hood Canal, and curves to the west across the top of the Olympic Peninsula towards Port Angeles. This Y intersection near the northeast corner of the peninsula is the beginning of State Route 20. SR 20 runs northeast up to Port Townsend, catches a ferry to Whidbey Island, then tours across farm fields and mountain passes, through cities and towns and next to rivers, all the way to the Idaho border. October, 2022.
