The Willamette River flows gracefully through Salem, Oregon, the capital city. The splendid paddle-wheeler Willamette Queen docks at Riverfront City Park. The white decks and red paddle wheel are reflected clearly in the Willamette. She is both elegant and charming, with her bright, red paddle wheel, and flags flying from her upper deck. This is what summer should look like. If you visit Riverfront City Park, be sure to stop by the Carousel. October, 2016.
