A bulletin board window gazes across a yellow grass meadow at a red horse barn in the resort community of Mazama, in Okanogan County, in the high eastern foothills of the North Cascades. Early November brings gray clouds and lingering yellow aspen leaves, and deep snow will soon fill the valley. A steel roof shelters the bulletin board and bench, a lovely spot to contemplate tall pines, rocky cliffs, and storm clouds. November, 2018.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
