Description
Heavy rains in April and May, 2018, caused the central Columbia River to flood both sides of the river near Wenatchee. By late May, the flooding had begun to recede from the shoreline. In Walla Walla Point Park, the high water mark can be seen on the maple tree at the right, over a foot above the water. The two fence posts on the right also show the high water mark. The mighty Columbia was less than a foot from the top of the fence post on the right.
