A rainbow of Skagit Valley tulips beckoned visitors to ooh and aah and take many photos. Some of the admirers in this image are on a platform that provides a higher perspective of the beautiful blooms. Two red barns provide an intermediate background, and blue hills and peaks of the North Cascades anchor the vista. Clouds drift above the scene in early April of 2019.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
