Artist's Description

Concrete bridge pillars march across the Columbia River, bearing the two bridges, known collectively as the Umatilla Bridge. Dusty brown hills of eastern Washington bask in the late July early morning sun beyond the river. The steel bridge on the left, first opened in 1955 and reopened following repairs in 2019, carries southbound traffic of I-82/US 385. It is a steel cantilevered bridge. The high bridge on the right, a concrete arch bridge that opened in 1988, carries pedestrians and northbound vehicle traffic. The bridge pillars are reflected in the tranquil river. July, 2019.

Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
