Artist's Description

Peace Arch marks the border between the US and Canada, standing 67 feet tall in the middle of Peace Arch Provincial Park, in Surrey, BC, and Peace Arch State Park, in Blaine, Washington. Two leafless trees stand sentinel on either side of the archway, silhouetted blackly against a deep blue January sky. Semiahmoo Bay is beyond the arch. The US is to the left and Canada is to the right.

Tom Cochran

Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
