Description
The Palouse region of southeastern Washington is a land of broad, rolling farm fields that grows mostly wheat, barley, and legumes. The Palouse is one of the seven wonders of Washington state. The pastoral area was created by thousands of years wind-blown dust or loess. This red barn and wheat farm are on State Route 26 between US 395 and the small town of Washtucna. The day was cloudy in late June.
