Description
Oso Cliff and Hill of Debris. A mountain fell down on the valley of the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River in March, 2014. The Oso Slide buried 43 children, women, and men in a tragic mudslide, leaving a tall, sheer cliff. Mud and rock, trees and other debris folded into a series of hills across the valley. The debris hill at bottom is nearest to the Oso Memorial on SR 530. The base of the cliff, center, is half a mile away. March, 2025.
