Description
Old Wenatchee Bridge and Calm Columbia. Steel girders of the Old Wenatchee Bridge stretch across a calm, blue Columbia River, connecting East Wenatchee, bottom to Wenatchee on the far side of the river. The bridge now carries a segment of the Apple Capital Loop Trail. Built in 1908, the bridge originally was constructed to transport irrigation water from the Wenatchee River near Dryden through the High Line Ditch to East Wenatchee. April, 2021.
