Artist's Description
In the east mesa foothills of the Sandia Mountains that rise imperiously above Albuquerque, New Mexico, a traveler can find dusty footpaths an an occasional (somewhat) shaded resting place. Sharing the mesa, one can find sage, rabbit brush, prickly pear cactus, and cholla, such as this one that stood a five feet tall.
