In early May, the City of Wenatchee, modestly self-identified as the Apple Capital of the World, hosts the Apple Blossom Festival, highlighted by the Apple Blossom Parade. For many years, parade watchers have been able to reserve a spot or a stretch of curb along the parade route simply by leaving a chair or several chairs, sometimes linked by string. By tradition, no one ever moves or takes chairs that aren't theirs. Remarkable trust and sense of community. May, 2017.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
