Artist's Description

Guemes Island is north of Anacortes, Washington, just across the Guemes Channel. The remnants of an old pier, weathered and dilapidated, still stand just off shore from the N Avenue Park. The pier is no longer connected to anything at either end, merely a forest of pilings standing unused and lonely in a cobalt blue water way. The April sky is azure blue. April, 2015.
