Description
Gorge Powerhouse first came on line to provide hydroelectric power to the Seattle area in 1924. The bridge on the left was originally a rail bridge that carried workers and material across the Skagit River to build Seattle City Light's Gorge Powerhouse. The bridge was rebuilt in 1935 as a single lane vehicle bridge with an adjacent footbridge. April 2022.
