The Pangborn Airport Terminal serves travelers to and from East Wenatchee. The airport is named for Clyde Pangborn who was the first to fly non-stop across the Pacific. Pangborn and his co-pilot, Hugh Herndon, Jr, flew from Misawa, Japan, to East Wenatchee, WA, in 1931. May, 2021.
