Description
This Northern Pacific Railroad bridge over the Skagit River was built in 1913. Sedro-Woolley is on the far shore. The NP was the successor to the original railroad through this valley, the Seattle, Lake Shore and Eastern.The long abandoned, rusty, rail bridge begins ends on the banks of the river. State Route 9 parallels the rail bridge. April, 2022.
