Crossing the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River rises high in the Oregon Cascades, and glides and splashes and runs down to meet the Willamette River in Eugene. Some 28 miles east of Eugene, just off the McKenzie Highway, the McKenzie is crossed by Goodpasture Covered Bridge, the second longest covered bridge in Oregon. June, 2016.
