Artist's Description
State Route 20 runs down Fidalgo Island and Whidbey Island, past Coupeville, then bends west to Fort Casey State Park on the western shore of Whidbey Island. There, SR 20 leaves the land at the Coupeville Ferry Dock and sails on the Port Townsend-Coupeville Ferry to Port Townsend on the northeast corner of the Olympic Peninsula. The ferry dock is left of center and wooded Fort Casey is beyond the dock. A partly cloudy sky floats above the blue water of the small harbor in early March, 2019.
About Tom Cochran
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
