Description
In 1884, Mortimer Cook built a wharf on the Skagit River, cleared land, and built a cedar shingle mill. The area outlined in red on the map is now Riverfront Park in Sedro-Woolley, and was the location of the home, and mill that Cook erected and the land he cleared. The wharf was on the river in the middle of the bottom red line. October, 2020.
