Description
The small town of Concrete straddles the North Cascades Highway, State Route 20, 31 miles east of I-5 and Burlington. For many years, two cement plants gave the town its name. Tall concrete silos mark the sites of the former plants. In late April, sunshine, blue skies and yellow wildflowers dress up these gray silos. April, 2018.
