A flower shop in the town of Concrete sits a block off the North Cascades Highway, State Route 20. A few years ago, this was the Concrete Police Department. A large mural on the wall of the shop, a leftover from the time this was an official town building, depicts the upper Skagit River Valley and North Cascades. Small print on the painted "Concrete" banner reads "Center of the Known Universe." July, 2022.
