Artist's Description
A cyclist sporting a red jersey rides the Centennial Trail past the obelisk that is the Great Northern Clocktower. The Clocktower still stands as a reminder of the Great Northern Depot and railroad hub that once occupied the area that is now Riverfront Park. The pedestrian and bike bridge on the left has a wood plank deck, the large concrete arch bridge carries North Stevens Street traffic. Both bridges cross the South Fork of the Spokane River from downtown Spokane to Riverfront Park. According to the Clocktower, it is almost noon on a late summer, sunny day. July, 2019.
