Maple leaves start to change at the end of September in Mt Vernon. These maple trees are on the border between two baseball fields in the Skagit Valley Play Park. The grass remains green, and some trees are changing from green to reds and golds. The russet maple on the right retains its color and its leaves until late in the autumn. Behind the trees and the ball fields, fog drapes the hills that are thickly covered by fir and cedar trees.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
