Description
Blaine is a fishing and crabbing port. These crab pots are stacked on the Blaine pier, ready for catching Dungeness, Red Rock, and Tanner crab in the cold waters in the Semiahmoo Bay and the Strait of Georgia. White Rock, BC, is beyond Semiahmoo Bay. The brightly colored floats help crabbers find their traps. This is mid September, in the middle of the crabbing season.
