Beebe Bridge carries US 97 across the broad Columbia River four miles east and downhill from Chelan, Washington. Beebe Bridge Park is just south of the Bridge, a green oasis tucked between the brown dirt hills that overlook the eastern shore of the Columbia River and the strong flow of the river. The sandy beach at the park was hauled in by truck. A narrow strip of the river in front of the beach is roped off for wading. On the second day of summer in 2019, the grass at the parks and the trees along the river are green, and gossamer clouds are airbrushed across the robin's egg sky. June, 2019
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
