Description
The Snake River is olive green as it passes below the rhyolite and basalt bluffs of the Snake River Canyon that cradle the River at Twin Falls, Idaho. The Perrine Bridge, a steel truss arch bridge with a main span of 993 feet, soars 486 feet above the Snake. The river is green due to agricultural runoff from the Snake River Plain. The sky is a delicate blue at the end of summer. August, 2018.
