Waypoint Park in Bellingham sits on land once occupied by the Georgia-Pacific Pulp Mill plant. Some structures, such as this acid ball, have been retained as public art. A gravel beach, bottom, was added to enhance the park. Whatcom Creek, right, empties into Bellingham Bay, Lummi Island is on the horizon. September, 2022.
