Description
Honey Crisp apple trees, carefully pruned for easy access to the fruit, march towards the horizon in straight, narrow columns in an orchard on State Route 28 near Quincy, Washington. In early May, apple blossoms are a delicate white, soon to be replaced by delicate pink buds. Quincy is on a broad, flat plateau east and north of the Columbia River in central Washington.
