Description
The Brazos Cliffs are the western wall of the Brazos Mountains, a high crest in northern New Mexico, over 11,000 feet, that runs for 20 miles south from the Colorado-New Mexico border. On a September morning, darkening storm clouds hang low over the Brazos country, headwaters of the Brazos River. Sage brush and juniper climb the rolling hills towards the Brazos mountains.
