Description
The Lyman-Hamilton Highway connects the small communities of Lyman and Hamilton, Washington, and runs parallel to the North Cascades Highway. A drainage ditch sprouts tall grass and wildflowers between the roadway and a grassy farm field. A maple tree that bears both living and dead branches stands in the field, a link between life and death.
