Peshastin Cemetery is a few miles east of Leavenworth, just outside of the small community of Peshastin, Washington. Raised grave markers stand near a line of firs at the edge of the cemetery. In the middle of a grassy, May green meadow, a small wooden cross, pink plastic flowers, a statuette of a child, and a tiny bear commemorate the short life of a child.
