Description
The Plover Ferry plies the gap between Semiahmoo Spit and the Blaine Pier, a short ten minute sail. The ferry lands at a small, water-level landing at the end of this sun-bleached, board walkway. The gray, weathered, aging building was a fish processing plant long ago. Driving around Drayton Harbor, a bit of which is on the right in this image, takes about 20 minutes, so the ferry is a real convenience.
