Long rows of golden daffodil blossoms stretch to the horizon in a farm field west of Mt Vernon, Washington in early April of 2019. The brown soil is fertile in the Skagit Valley. The fallow field to the right will host tulips soon after the daffodil blooms fade in a few weeks. A no trespassing sign bars visitors and avid photographers from tramping among the daffodils, though people often dawdle in the daffodils and tread among the tulips.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
