Description
Lyman is a small town of 473 people that sits between the Skagit River and State Route 20, a dozen miles east of Burlington. The building that houses City Hall is over a hundred years old. Built for Washington pioneer Birdsey Minkler in 1891, the Minkler Mansion was purchased by the Town of Lyman in 2009. The Ionic columns were a sign of the owner's wealth at the time. Late October sunshine bathes the former mansion. October, 2019.
