The foothills of the Sandia Mountains bound Albuquerque on the east. Ninety miles to the west, the volcanic cone of Mt Taylor, know as Tsoodzil, a sacred mountain for the Navajo, rises 11,305 feet. The cumulonimbus cloud, center frame, is watering the slopes of Mt Taylor.
