Description
The yard of a cozy home in Twisp, a half block from the main street, is home to a flag pole that proudly raises two flags aloft. The lower flag is the Big Blue Marble, Earth as seen from space. The top flag is the international peace symbol, originally designed for the British Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, and consists of a circle around the semaphore sign for the letter 'n' (flags extended down and out like an inverted Y) overlaid on the semaphore letter 'd' (flags extended up and down like a capital I). May, 2018.
