Description
Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve is on the western shore of Whidbey Island, west of Coupeville. Ebey's Landing faces west, onto the Strait of Juan de Fuca, which connects the mainland with the Pacific Ocean. Driftwood, floated a mile, a hundred miles, thousands of miles across oceans and seas, lands on the shore of Ebey's Landing, just south of the bluffs that edge Fort Ebey.
