Description
Cordata Parkway runs past Whatcom Community College and through a residential area of houses and condos at the north end of Bellingham. The median is lined with maple trees, delicate, pale green in spring, proudly, loudly scarlet in early October. More maples planted between the sidewalk and the road are just beginning to turn colors of yellow and auburn and gold, while some maples and firs remain a dark, vivid green. An azure sky has a few puffy white clouds to provide a backdrop for the autumn rainbows.
