The community of Clear Lake, straddling State Route 9 and sitting a few miles east of Mt Vernon and Burlington, Washington, is named for a tiny lake on the east side of town. Lake reeds grow in the mud next to a floating dock that extends from the shore. A playground is behind the reeds. Calm water reflects cottony clouds in spring. February, 2023.
