Description
A lone birch tree stands sentinel on the shore of Bellingham Bay, watching a freighter as it passes Marine Park. In early November, the birch leaves are brown and yellow, slowly drifting to grassy shore of the Bay. The shoreline behind the birch is gravel, large rocks, and driftwood polished by waves over many miles.
