Glacier, Washington, sits astraddle the Mt Baker Highway, just south of the North Fork of the Nooksack River. Glacier's one coffee shop and bakery has very good coffee and tasty baked treats. Travelers on day trips, skiers, and boarders stop here on the way up to Mt Baker's ski runs, or coming down the mountain after a morning of fun. Church Mountain is still snow-capped at the end of winter. A hitching rail for horses, a massive root ball of a huge old maple tree, and an extra large red cup and saucer (far right) decorate the front yard of the Wake 'n Bakery. March, 2019.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
