Utah The Beehive State - Wall Art

Millions of years ago, a vast inland sea stretched from what is now the southern Gulf of Mexico to the Arctic Circle. Over aeons, the sea deposited sediment in layers which can be seen now in the red rocks of southern Utah. Salt Lake is the residue of the salt from that sea. The state was named for the Utah tribes that were present when Mormons moved to Utah from Missouri and New York. Famous for its incredible landscapes, it is also the shortest route from Washington to New Mexico, and I have journeyed across it north to southeast many times. These images help to tell the story of Utah.
