Idaho The Gem State - Wall Art

Boise, the capital of Idaho and largest city, has over 223,000 people. Boise is an urban area with thriving educational and business opportunities, an excellent university, and lots of god places to eat. The state of Idaho has a population of over 1,650,000. Most of Idaho is rural farmland or remote hills and mountains.The Snake River crosses the state from Alpine, Wyoming, east of the Palisades Reservoir, formed by the Snake, through Idaho Falls, American Falls Reservoir, Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument, Twin Falls, and Boise. Idaho is the Gem State due to its reputation for gemstones and the beautiful regions of the state. The state relies on timbering, mining, and some high tech industries.
